"9/11/25 about 6:30pm There is a squirrel trapped in the empty groundfloor lobby of the building on the NW corner of 11th and Lovejoy."
"It's empty inside, and the poor dear is franticly running back and forth in front of the windows trying to get out."
"I called the number on the front door and left a message (actually 2, got the address wrong the first time), but it's unlikely they'll get it before tomorrow."
"Worried they'll think it's a prank and won't find the squirrel until it's too late, a ghost. Can anyone please help this sweet rodent out? Security?"
On 9/11/25 at about 6:30pm a squirrel was observed trapped in the empty ground-floor lobby of the building at the northwest corner of 11th and Lovejoy. The interior was empty and the squirrel ran frantically back and forth in front of the windows while attempting to escape. The observer called the number posted on the front door and left two messages after initially misdialing the address. The observer expressed concern that building staff might dismiss the report as a prank and that the animal could remain trapped until the next day. Immediate assistance from building security or a local animal-rescue service was requested to secure and release the squirrel.
