Dog owners warned over poison meat found in parks
"In this case, it's poison meat. Before we've had toys that have been left around that have been poisoned. The worst one that really shocked me was razor blades being left in tennis balls."
"I'm totally disgusted. I can't even imagine why anyone would do that."
"It's absolutely horrendous. I'm not sure if someone's doing it for a spiteful reason. It will stop people coming to the park with their dogs."
"The best advice I can give is to just stay as vigilant as possible."
Police in west London have issued a warning after suspected poisoned meat was discovered in Holland Park and Brompton Cemetery. The toxic chicken has left a dog very unwell and resulted in the death of two foxes. Authorities suspect the meat may have been intentionally placed to harm animals. Dog owners are advised to keep their pets on leads and remain vigilant to prevent scavenging. Professional dog walker Kris Sikora noted that similar incidents have occurred in the past, urging caution among pet owners.
