Penny, a four-year-old Doberman Pinscher, won Best in Show at the 2026 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show after beating nearly 2,500 dogs at Madison Square Garden. She is the 42nd female Best in Show winner and the first Doberman champion since 1989; the same handler, Andy Linton, handled both wins. Judge David Fitzpatrick selected Penny from seven group champions, with Cota the Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Reserve Best in Show. The competition marked Westminster's 150th anniversary, and the judge called the finalist lineup historically notable and purely adorable. The final ring featured winners from Working, Sporting, Herding, Hound, Non-Sporting, Terrier and Toy groups.
