Shaun and Sam Hall faced an incredible challenge when their two-year-old son Jackson was diagnosed with leukaemia in February 2020. The diagnosis came amidst fears triggered by a family history of meningitis, and during the pandemic, the family's world drastically transformed. Celebrating Jackson's milestone of being cancer-free after five years, the Halls credit the exceptional support from St George's and the Royal Marsden Hospital staff who instilled a fighting spirit during their ordeal. The couple reflects on the emotional journey and the impact it has had on their family.

Having a child diagnosed with leukemia during COVID felt like a wrecking ball through our lives. We owe our fighting mindset to the amazing staff.
This journey has shaped our family in profound ways, and we are grateful to have Jackson celebrate being cancer-free after five long years.
