Ashly Locklin was shopping at a Spirit Halloween pop-up with her 4-year-old son Beckham and 3-year-old daughter Ellington when a 7-foot-6-inch animatronic Jack the Reaper boomed threatening lines. Beckham stepped in front of Ellington, chest puffed and clutching his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume, ready to protect her despite his own fear. Locklin recorded the moment on her phone, and the clip went viral, reaching more than 12 million views. Social media commenters praised Beckham's protective instincts. Locklin hopes Beckham and Ellington, who are 18 months apart, will always look out for each other.
