NextLight: ACP Replacement Service Up 14% in First Year
Briefly

NextLight, a community-owned fiber provider in Longmont, Colorado, has seen a 14% increase in subscribers to its Internet Assistance Program (IAP) since its April 2024 launch, aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged families. The program provides a $25 discount on broadband services, enabling households to access essential internet at a lower price. With options for both 100 Mbps and gigabit connections, NextLight seeks to ensure that families can remain connected and continue their education and work, particularly in the wake of the Affordable Connectivity Program's termination.
For families across Longmont, having a high-speed internet connection isn't optional - it's vital. We want our NextLight community to know that when times get challenging, we can help them stay connected so that they can continue to work, study and thrive.
