It has served nonprofits working to tackle food insecurity, protect immigrants and more. The project was started in partnership with the council of nonprofits and funded by Sobrato Philanthropies and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation with $345,000."

The Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits curates resources for tracking federal actions, scenario planning, and financial planning while advocating for equitable community policies. The nonprofit protection project has assisted 35 clients with federal contract disputes and internal employee and board issues, supporting organizations addressing food insecurity and immigrant protection. The project launched in partnership with the council and received $345,000 from Sobrato Philanthropies and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Nonprofits can request counsel via a form on the law foundation website.
