Yankees rally to beat Blue Jays in ALDS Game 3, keep playoff run alive
""Just an awesome MVP-like performance," Aaron Boone said of Judge, a two-time AL MVP who went 3-for-4 with the homer and an RBI double."
""For us, live to fight another day, right?" said Cody Bellinger, who went 2-for-4."
Aaron Judge delivered a tying three-run homer off the foul pole in left on a 100-mph, 0-and-2 pitch by Louis Varland, sparking a comeback from a five-run deficit. The Yankees rallied to a 9-6 victory as Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a go-ahead homer into the second deck in right an inning after Judge's blast. The Stadium sellout crowd of 47,399 erupted as the home dugout celebrated. Two crucial Blue Jays errors helped pave the comeback. Carlos Rodon struggled, but the Yankees bullpen combined for 6 2/3 scoreless innings. Cam Schlittler is scheduled to start Wednesday as the Blue Jays consider a bullpen game.
