"Obviously not the outcome we wanted, but it was exciting for me personally," said Ryan McMahon after his debut as a Yankee, despite the team's loss.
"It's going to be really exciting, right? I mean this is every kid's dream... picturing yourself in Game 7 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium," McMahon expressed about wearing the Yankees uniform.
McMahon felt welcomed by fans during warm-ups, acknowledging the first-inning roll call where he interacted with the Bleacher Creatures.
Entering the game batting .217 with 16 home runs, McMahon spoke of his struggles with strikeouts but felt relieved to get his first hit in New York.
