"If the DOB summons and mortgage questions are accurate, Attorney General Letitia James should bring the fence into compliance, pay any penalties, and be fully transparent, because no one is above the law," added the moderate Queens Democrat."

The fraud allegations were called baseless and linked to long-standing legal battles with President Trump. Neighbors reported being unaware of violations and noted at least one other tall fence on the block that was not ticketed. The fence must be removed or lowered by Sept. 26 to avoid penalties, and an annual $13 property registration fee remained unpaid.
