Dodgers outfielder who was recently DFA'd joins Yankees

The outfielder had a fantastic glove that season, though, ranking in the 99th percentile of MLB with 16 outs above average."

The Tucker signing established an outfield of Tucker, Teoscar Hernandez and Andy Pages, with Ryan Ward and Alex Call as depth. Siani has struggled offensively across four MLB seasons, never posting an OPS above .600 and receiving limited playing time. He played 124 games for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2024, hitting two home runs with a .570 OPS while ranking in the 99th percentile defensively. The Yankees’ outfield features Cody Bellinger, Trent Grisham Jr., Aaron Judge and prospect Jasson Dominguez, making Siani most likely a depth option rather than a starter.
