Braves claim Ken Waldichuk off waivers
"The last time Ken Waldichuk pitched at the major league level was all the way back in 2023, which is when the team was still actually in Oakland. Waldichuk finished with an ERA of 5.36 (130 ERA-) and a FIP of 5.30 (128 FIP-) across 35 appearances (22 starts) and 141 innings pitched. He's a career 5.28 ERA and 5.10 FIP pitcher over the course of his two big league seasons."

Tommy John surgery in May 2024 sidelined him through the remainder of that season and part of 2025. He threw 51 innings (16 appearances, 15 starts) at Triple-A Las Vegas in 2025 with an 8.65 ERA and 7.30 FIP. The Braves designated Vidal Bruján for assignment; Bruján totaled 24 games, 47 plate appearances, a .268/.362/.317 slash, .311 wOBA and 98 wRC+.
