After an eight-game winning streak, the Yankees faced a tough challenge against the Blue Jays. Ramiro Mendoza struggled in his second start of the season, giving up multiple runs early. Despite a solid team performance previously, Mendoza allowed six runs in four innings, leading the Yankees into a deep deficit.
