Rangers Recap: Where there's a Will, there's a way - Blue Seat Blogs
Briefly

The New York Rangers have showcased their potential with two consecutive 4-0 wins, highlighted by Igor Shesterkin's shutout against the Islanders. Will Cuylle's performance, including a surprising head goal, underscores his importance as the team heads towards a playoff push. Despite needing a strong finish to secure a playoff spot, Shesterkin and fellow goaltender Jonathan Quick are stepping up, while defenseman Adam Fox's anticipated return promises further enhancement. The Rangers aim to test their mettle against stronger opponents, hoping to maintain momentum amid recent defensive improvements.
Will Cuylle has become a critical piece for the Rangers. Should they make the playoffs this season, it will be fun to see him, JT Miller, and potentially Brennan Othmann, Brett Berard, and Matt Rempe go full bash brothers.
Shesterkin had an uncharacteristically easy night, only facing 20 shots. It seems he is past his injury concerns, and along with Quick, is answering the call and keeping the Rangers in the playoff race.
As good as the Rangers look right now, albeit against two bad teams, they will only get better once Adam Fox returns. Despite drawing a vocal minority's ire, Fox is a key factor on this Rangers defense.
With the team rolling and Igor in net, anything is possible. If this is what the Rangers can now do, we need to see how they stack up against a power house.
