
Geraldines minor boys defeated St Michael's in the East Regional final at McGeough Park, finishing 2-12 to 0-12. Geraldines began strongly with consecutive points from Jack Greene, Maciek Dobros from a free, and Sean McKenna. St Michael's replied through Charlie McBride, but Geraldines extended their advantage with points from Dobros, Owen McGahon, and Roan Norton Quigley. Greene added a fine individual goal, while St Michael's closed the half with scores from McBride, Patrick Reynolds, and Arthur Sands, leaving Geraldines only four points ahead. Resolute defending, led by full-back Mal Madine, helped maintain control. In the second half, Dobros scored a vital second goal, and Szymon Perkowski made a crucial save with 15 minutes remaining. Additional points from Greene, McKenna, and Aodhán Gibbons secured a six-point margin despite late St Michael's scores.
