Steve Cook, former captain of Queens Park Rangers, will depart the club when his contract expires at the season's end. He joined from Nottingham Forest in 2023, making 99 appearances and scoring five goals. Cook is expected to play his 100th and final match against Swansea City. He served as captain until the current season and has made 30 appearances this season. QPR is currently 11th in the Championship, unable to reach the play-offs or face relegation.
