Pete Alonso on new ex-Yankees teammates, Aaron Judge and all things Subway Series
Briefly

Before the Subway Series, Pete Alonso expressed gratitude for newly acquired ex-Yankees players Juan Soto and Clay Holmes, who significantly bolster the Mets' lineup and pitching staff. Alonso highlighted the importance of these acquisitions for establishing a winning culture within the organization, noting that both Soto and Holmes were critical in the Yankees' recent successful run to the World Series. Soto returned to the lineup after a day off, while Holmes, who started on Wednesday, will not get to play against his former team in the series.
As an organization, we're doing a real good job of creating and harnessing the winning culture that we're trying to cultivate.
Not only did we get Juan, we got Clay, and those guys had opportunities to go other places. I am happy they chose us.
