The New York Mets introduced Bo Bichette after he signed a three-year, $126 million contract, moving from the Toronto Blue Jays. Fans and former Blue Jays teammates are adjusting to his departure and new team. Ernie Clement described the clubhouse reaction and called the absence of Bichette 'weird.' Clement said Bichette was fully focused on winning the World Series and only afterward began weighing career decisions. Bichette nearly decided Game 7 of the 2025 World Series with a three-run homer. Clement expressed happiness for Bichette, said he deserves his contract, and believes Bichette’s winning mindset will help in Queens.
