"The Atlanta Braves continue the homestand Friday evening with a three game set against the Houston Astros. The fourth-place Braves enter play with a 65-81 record and look to bounce back after coming off a series loss against the Chicago Cubs. Unfortunately for Atlanta, the Astros have a much more impressive 79-68 record and are tied at first in the AL West."
"Hurston Waldrep, Bryce Elder, and Joey Wentz are each expected to get the ball for the Braves. They will be facing Hunter Brown, Framber Valdez, and a pitcher not yet determined. Hopefully, this series goes better than the recent ones and the Braves can come away with a series win. It has been reported that Brian Snitker is not sure what his future holds, but he would be open to managing the Braves again in 2026."
