OG Anunoby earned an NBA ring in 2019 with the Raptors, who beat Golden State in the Finals in six games with Mike Brown as an assistant coach. He averaged 10.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 29.9 minutes across 69 regular-season games as a key member of that squad. An emergency appendectomy on April 11 caused him to miss most of the playoff run, though he was later cleared for the NBA Finals. He still did not play with the team in a groove and described the experience as cool after Friday’s practice.
