"On favorability, Mamdani led the trio with 43 percent of voters saying they had a favorable opinion of the assemblymember compared to 35 percent who viewed him negatively. Only 37 percent said they had a favorable opinion of Cuomo while 52 percent said they had an unfavorable opinion of him. As for Sliwa, 27 percent of voters reported having a favorable opinion of him while 40 percent said they had a negative opinion of the Guardian Angels founder."

A Quinnipiac University poll finds Zohran Mamdani leading the mayoral race with 46 percent of likely voters, followed by Andrew Cuomo at 33 percent and Curtis Sliwa at 15 percent. Cuomo gained ground after Mayor Eric Adams abandoned his reelection bid, rising from 23 percent in the September 10 poll to 33 percent in the current survey. Favorability ratings show 43 percent view Mamdani positively versus 35 percent negatively; Cuomo is viewed positively by 37 percent and negatively by 52 percent; Sliwa has 27 percent favorable and 40 percent unfavorable. Mamdani has secured key Democratic endorsements, while Cuomo must attract Republican and moderate voters, receiving 37 percent of Republican support compared with 54 percent for Sliwa.
