Knicks end 4-game skid with blowout home win against Nets
"We've been in the midst of a pretty rough stretch and it's not about just one game right now. There's got to be a continual pursuit for us getting better and growing,"
"So, fourth-quarter blowout, cool, whatever. It's an opportunity against a talented NBA team to build and grow on some of the things that we're trying to grow on and get better at. So kudos to our guys continuing to carry the standard and finish out the right way."
"A win. That was the most important thing, just finding a way to break the ice and get one in the left c"
The New York Knicks routed the Brooklyn Nets 120-66, the largest victory margin in franchise history. Jalen Brunson scored 20 points and the starters were finished after three quarters with the Knicks leading 88-56. Reserves opened the fourth quarter with a 16-0 run and the lead reached as much as 59 points. Landry Shamet scored 18 points in 15 minutes and went 6-for-6 from three. The Knicks shot 57.5% from the field. The team had lost nine of 11 games and had been booed after a recent loss to Dallas. Brunson called a players-only meeting to seek internal solutions.
