Mike Repole, a billionaire and St. John's alumnus, has set ambitious goals for the St. John's basketball team, aiming for a Final Four appearance within the next five years. During an appearance on 'Up & Adams,' Repole expressed confidence in Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino, whom he praised as the greatest college basketball coach and capable of leading the program to its first championship. This follows a previous season where St. John's advanced only to the Round of 32. Adding to this optimism, four-star prospect Kelvin Odih has committed to join the Red Storm.
"It's Final Four or bust for the next five years with me. I mean, that's, that's what we had to do," Repole said.
Repole believes Coach Pitino has the tools to guide St. John's to its first-ever national championship, calling him the "greatest college basketball coach ever."
