The Islanders have reached the Conference Finals only three times, including 1993, 2020, and 2021, with losses to the Canadiens and Lightning, including a 2021 seven-game series decided by a short-handed goal from Yanni Gourde. Despite a late-season falter this year, the organization has young contributors and additional players poised to make an impact.
