Islanders' Brayden Schenn scores first goal for club in win over Toronto

Rookie defenseman Matthew Schaefer earned an assist, moving within one point of reaching 50 assists in a season. Toronto's Steven Lorentz scored the lone goal for the Leafs, with Joseph Woll making 31 saves. The loss continued Toronto's struggles following the season-ending knee injury to captain Auston Matthews.
