Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson, Jermaine Eluemunor and CorDale Flott set for big pay days
"He did so with former players such as running back Saquon Barkley and safety Julian Love. This season is a little different because the Giants are just finishing their bye in Week 14 in December. The finish line is in sight for the Giants' top free agents. Players such as wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor and cornerback Cor'Dale Flott are just four games away from maximizing their value on the open market."
""At this point, I feel like it's going to just go to free agency," Robinson told ESPN before the bye. "Not really pressed about getting a contract right now. Just kind of let it play itself out." Robinson, Eluemunor and Flott all are having their best seasons during their contract years. It makes for some tough decisions for the Giants and Schoen, should he stick around despite another difficult season."
Joe Schoen previously made contract offers during bye weeks to players such as Saquon Barkley and Julian Love. This season the Giants finished their bye in Week 14, leaving four games before top players reach free agency. Wan'Dale Robinson, Jermaine Eluemunor and Cor'Dale Flott are nearing free agency after strong performances during contract years. Robinson leads the team in receiving and is on pace for 95 catches, 1,082 yards and four touchdowns. Robinson has 488 slot receiving yards, nearly 40 more than Detroit's Aman-Ra St. Brown. Robinson and Flott were drafted in 2022 and Eluemunor joined as a 2024 free-agent signing, raising re-signing questions for management.
