Cuomo, who served as the Democratic governor of New York until resigning amid a sexual harassment scandal, is running against Mamdani as an independent. Also in the race is Republican Curtis Sliwa."

There's going to be a physical collapseany given morning there's a crisis, and people's lives are at stake. God forbid, another 9/11 can you imagine Mamdani in the seat? Cuomo asked about the practicing Muslim."
"Mamdani responded on X, writing, Just disgusting. During the mayoral debate the night before, both Cuomo and Sliwa went on the attack against Mamdani, who currently holds a double-digit lead over his opponents. I think overall he was far and away the worst of the three on stage, Rosenberg told Cuomo. At one point, Mamdani let the audience know that one of the 13 women who accused Cuomo of sexual harassment while he was governor was actually in attendance,"
Andrew Cuomo appeared on the conservative radio show Sid & Friends in the Morning to discuss the mayoral debate. Cuomo warned that the mayor's job can face crises like prison uprisings, mass shootings, Legionnaire's Disease and physical collapse and asked, 'God forbid, another 9/11 — can you imagine Mamdani in the seat?' Sid Rosenberg quipped that Mamdani would be cheering, and Cuomo responded that that was another problem. Zohran Mamdani replied on X with two words: 'Just disgusting.' Mamdani holds a double-digit lead, and he noted that one of Cuomo's accusers attended the debate.
