A 58-year-old Asian woman was struck and killed by an oncoming 7 train at Grand Central Terminal at around 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 25. FDNY members and Midtown South Precinct officers responded to a call of a person struck by a train at 42nd Street and 3rd Avenue. Officers found the woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said no criminality is suspected and it is unclear how she was hit. 7 train service was suspended in both directions immediately after the incident.
