What to know about watching the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Show

The 49th Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show airs nationwide on NBC and Peacock from 8 to 10 p.m., with an encore at 10 p.m. Fireworks will launch from four barges in the Seaport District. For the first time, the Brooklyn Bridge will feature projected animations alongside the fireworks. No tickets are sold for the show; it is a free public event. Hosted by Ariana DeBose, performances include the Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, and others, accompanied by a musical score from Questlove and James Poyser. The show will showcase a variety of fireworks effects, launching over 80,000 shells into the sky.
The fireworks will be launched from four barges between Pier 17 and the Downtown Manhattan Heliport on the lower East River in the Seaport District.
Fireworks will include crackling crown jellyfish, atomic rings, yellow and green sunbursts, strobing lemon cascades, comet fans and more before Macy's Golden Mile.
