Suspect Nabbed After Deadly NYC Subway Attack: NYPD

"A man connected to a deadly beating outside the Jay Street-MetroTech subway station in downtown Brooklyn is now in custody, police said. The attack happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday, when officers responded to a 911 call and found a man lying outside the Jay Street-MetroTech station with serious injuries to his face and body, an NYPD spokesperson said."

"The victim was unconscious and unresponsive at the scene and was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but later died, authorities said."

"Following the attack, the NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on social media, stating he was wanted in connection with the fatal beating and had last been seen boarding a Bronx-bound 2 train. Later, police announced in a follow-up post that the individual had been located and taken into custody, though no formal charges have been filed at this time."
