The tree was donated by the Russ family after six decades on their property and was prepared for transport by head gardener Erik Pauze. Preparations will include more than 50,000 energy-efficient LEDs, five miles of wiring, and a nine-foot Swarovski star weighing about 900 pounds. The official lighting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3.
