"BROOKLYN, NY - After a string of at least a dozen robberies in just seven weeks throughout Brooklyn, the NYPD is asking New Yorkers for help identifying the man they say is behind the spree. The as-yet-unidentified robber is still on the loose, with police connecting him to 12 crimes dating back to early October, the most recent reported on Nov. 30."
"Here are more details on each of the 12 robberies, two of which occurred on the same day, according to police. On Oct. 13, 2025, a 35-year-old woman was behind the counter at 557 Atlantic Avenue when a man walked in, threatened to hit her, and grabbed cash from the register. He then took off on foot and disappeared into the area. The woman wasn't injured, police added."
A single suspect has been connected to twelve robberies across Brooklyn between Oct. 13 and Nov. 30. The suspect remains unidentified and police released photos seeking public assistance. Most incidents involved a man reaching over counters to grab cash after asking to exchange money or ordering employees to open registers. Several robberies included threats, a shove, or the suspect pretending to have a weapon. Victims were typically women working behind counters at locations including Atlantic Avenue, President Street, Church Avenue, and Flatbush Avenue. The suspect typically fled on foot and no injuries were reported in the detailed incidents.
