A recent Marist University poll shows that 47% of New Yorkers approve of Mayor Zohran Mamdani's performance, while 30% disapprove and 23% are unsure. Despite the challenges, 74% believe he is working hard, and 65% approve of his response to winter storms. Mamdani's approval ratings are lower than his predecessor Eric Adams at a similar point. He emphasized his administration's achievements, including expanding child care and filling 100,000 potholes since taking office.
