The project will provide reliable heating and cooling, safety and security equipment, playground equipment, and a new senior center for 450 residents. Repairs and renovations are expected within three years, with urgent work starting immediately. The buildings were converted to Project-Based Section 8 housing through the federal RAD program under PACT. PACT partners include L+M Development Partners and Type A Projects, and Type A Projects will collaborate with residents. PACT transitions from Section 9 to Section 8 unlock resident-selected funding and enhance property management.
