"Joseph had driven there with his girlfriend after her worried 15-year-old daughter called her because the girl believed she was about to get attacked, police said. The daughter attends Williamsburg Charter High School, where she had earlier argued with a teen boy who threatened he was going to ask a girl he knows to fight the daughter, police said. When Joseph and the mother arrived at the scene they rushed to the daughter's aid."
"Joseph, who was in the driver's seat, was busted for gun possession - of the same revolver police believe he fired last Friday afternoon, wounding three innocents near Marcus Garvey Blvd. and Broadway, near Woodhull Hospital. Those victims - a 33-year-old man struck in the thigh while waiting for a bus, a 16-year-old boy hit in the left hip and a 15-year-old girl grazed in the right foot - were in the wrong place at the wrong time, police said."
A 52-year-old man drove to a confrontation after his girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter feared an attack following an earlier argument at Williamsburg Charter High School. The man and the mother confronted a group of teens and then got into his SUV to leave. As they were departing, the man opened fire at the group, missing intended targets and striking three innocent bystanders. Officers later stopped the vehicle for a no-standing violation, ran its plate, found it flagged in a crime database, and arrested the driver on weapons and other charges.
