"A 28-year-old man was killed and a 23-year-old woman grazed when two masked gunmen opened fire on the grounds of a Brooklyn housing complex late Thursday, police said. The man was shot in the head and the woman hit in the neck when the suspects started shooting on the grounds of NYCHA's Armstrong II Houses on Lexington Avenue near Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 11:50 p.m., cops said."
"Both victims were taken to the Kings County Hospital Center, where the man, identified by cops as Shyhemm Lee, succumbed to his injuries, authorities said. The woman was taken to the same hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. Both shooters fled on foot after the bullets flew, and had not been caught by Friday. The circumstances leading up to the deadly violence - and whether the two victims were targeted - remain under investigation."
