Chi Ossé represents Bedford-Stuyvesant and parts of northern Crown Heights and is the youngest elected City Council member at 27 in his fourth year. Ossé links his politics to a generational and moral reckoning and condemns corporate donor influence while advocating for small-donor campaigns to ensure leaders prioritize constituents. Small-dollar donations ($200 or less) comprised 74% of his $74,299 raised, while 31 large donors contributed nearly $19,300. Ossé sponsored the Fairness in Apartment Rental Expenses (FARE) Act to shift broker fees from tenants to landlords; the law passed November 13, 2024, and takes effect June 11.
