Marcin Pieciak, age 37 and formerly of 76th Street in Glendale, entered a guilty plea to manslaughter in relation to the fatal stabbing of 41-year-old Sarah McNally. McNally was a Longford-born Irishwoman who worked at the Ceili House Bar in Maspeth, Queens. The stabbing occurred on March 30 of last year. Pieciak was identified as McNally's former boyfriend. A sentence of 24 years in prison was imposed following the guilty plea entered last month.
