"You will never see me in the studio of WABC ever again,"
"I feel personally offended by friends and colleagues at WABC,"
"They have been saying I'm selfish, are you out of your mind?"
"Always Broadcast Cuomo."
Curtis Sliwa angrily quit his WABC show after a fiery on-air argument with host Sid Rosenberg, who urged Sliwa to withdraw so independent Andrew Cuomo could better challenge Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani. Station owner John Catsimatidis, a Republican and grocery tycoon, also pleaded with Sliwa to abandon his long-shot mayoral bid. Sliwa said he feels personally offended by friends and colleagues at the station and accused the station of becoming "Always Broadcast Cuomo." He rejected accusations that his campaign is selfish. His self-titled show has been off the air during the campaign.
