"I was waiting for the light to turn to walk. [While] I was waiting, all of a sudden, the guy slashed me twice. I yelled, and he looked like he turned around to go. And then just because I yelled, he did it again."
"That's the weird part. He didn't say anything. He didn't take anything, my belongings - nothing. The video also shows the suspect, dressed in dark clothing, trailing the unassuming victim before she crosses the street."
A violent stabbing occurred in East Elmhurst, Queens, when an unknown assailant attacked Lisette Ramales, 29, as she waited to cross the street near a bus stop at 6:20 a.m. on Monday. Video footage shows the suspect following closely behind Ramales with a knife before stabbing her multiple times in the back, causing injuries and broken ribs. Ramales reported being stabbed four times and stated the attack was completely unprovoked, with the attacker taking nothing and saying nothing.
