The 2,700-capacity theater near Downtown Brooklyn and gentrified Fort Greene hosted progressive young professionals who helped drive Mamdani to victory. Media and politicos circulated as flags and a large Spectrum News 1 screen framed the podium and cheers rose with each voting update. Julio Herrera, 27, credited Mamdani's focus on affordability—free buses and free childcare—for his group's endorsement and called the win a national phenomenon. Nicholas Francisco Alban, 26, navigated the crowd with a New York City flag as a volunteer.
