An unlicensed 2018 Ford van struck Noach Klein, 84, and a 54-year-old man near Klein's Unique Sterling store on 18th Ave. in Borough Park; Klein died at Maimonides Medical Center and the other victim is in stable condition. Klein lived in Williamsburg and ran Unique Sterling for 50 years. He was known for tracking down rare antique silver pieces and for spending weeks finding perfect silver items that brought beauty and heritage into homes. Klein emigrated from Hungary to Israel early in life and later moved to Brooklyn to be near the Satmar Rebbe, serving in the rabbi's home.
