The installation used land surveying equipment to scale the design and mark corner points for accurate proportions. Workers connected the points and sprayed colored food dye on the ice to form the logo's shapes and letters over two days. The river rarely freezes, so success depended on a rare combination of frigid weather and championship timing. The company posted images on social media as a large show of Weymouth support for the Patriots ahead of the Super Bowl.
