Mina Kimes: 'I absolutely love what the Patriots did' in the NFL Draft
Briefly

The New England Patriots received significant praise for their 2025 NFL Draft performance, notably from ESPN analyst Mina Kimes. She commended the team for addressing glaring offensive needs without overreaching. The Patriots drafted Will Campbell as the fourth overall pick, aiming to establish a long-term left tackle. On Day 2, they added TreVeyon Henderson and Kyle Williams, enhancing their offensive capabilities with big-play potential. Henderson's impressive 7 yards per carry and Williams' high yards after catch statistics contribute to a promising draft class that Kimes believes significantly improves the team's future.
I absolutely love what the Patriots did. They went into this draft with, I felt, some pretty glaring needs on offense and they really managed to address those needs without reaching from a value perspective.
Henderson was a home run hitter as a back, averaged 7 yards per carry, which is the most of any Power 5 back. And Kyle Williams out of Washington State averaged the most yards after catch per reception of any Power 5 receiver.
I think it was a really, really great draft class for them.
Henderson and Williams give this offense big-play potential, adding speed elements that pair nicely with Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas.
