"I think it was an April Fool's joke, but a little late. I don't know exactly who it is, but obviously I have a feeling of who it could be."
"I'm assuming it was Gus. Oh, I didn't even think that Flower could be involved. That's true, too. Then I definitely think it's a team job. And well done for them."
"Wallstedt recalled one of Fleury's most iconic pranks during his time with the Wild: he planted a bed of flowers on former teammate Brandon Duhaime's car."
Jesper Wallstedt, the Minnesota Wild goalie, wore a jersey with his name misspelled as "Wallstead" during a game against the Anaheim Ducks. He noticed the error after allowing a goal while reviewing the play on the scoreboard. Wallstedt suspected it was an April Fool's joke, possibly orchestrated by his goalie partner Filip Gustavsson or former Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, known for his pranks. Wallstedt found the situation amusing and acknowledged it as a team effort.
