Vitek Vanecek did not play during the Florida Panthers' successful 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs but celebrated as a champion in Havlíčkův Brod, Czechia. He arrived in a large truck to honor his father and was joined by teammate Tomas Nosek, who also had celebrations in Pardubice. Both players got matching Stanley Cup tattoos. Vanecek, who logged seven games in the regular season, noted the difficulty of winning and expressed gratitude for being on a winning team, despite not being eligible for a name engraving due to playoff participation rules.
The Stanley Cup is the one and only, and the NHL is the best league in the world. In Florida, I had a great opportunity to see what it takes to win it. One mistake and it can all be gone. Many great players never won the Cup. And I was so lucky to be on the winning team.
To be able to enjoy it with my family and closest friends, something unforgettable, and I will remember it for the rest of my life.
