Defense selections include Charlie McAvoy, Quinn Hughes, Brock Faber, Noah Hanifin, Seth Jones, Jake Sanderson, Jaccob Slavin and Zach Werenski. The goaltenders are Connor Hellebuyck, Jake Oettinger and Jeremy Swayman. Matthews served as captain at the 4 Nations Face-Off, and Sanderson and Faber have prior Olympic experience. Team USA will compete in Group C with Latvia, Denmark and Germany and opens vs. Latvia on Feb. 12 at 3:10 p.m. ET.
