Oshie was hired by Monumental Sports Network as a contributor in mid-September and came to an agreement with ESPN in October to be an NHL studio and game analyst. While Oshie was a memorable player during his career, the moment that made him a household name in hockey circles was in the Olympics."
TJ Oshie will join NBC's Olympic hockey coverage as one of 11 hires for February 2026. The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo will feature NHL players returning to Olympic competition for the first time since 2014. Oshie retired from hockey last June and has since taken broadcasting roles with Monumental Sports Network and ESPN as an NHL studio and game analyst. Oshie gained wide recognition for scoring four times in six shootout attempts to lead the United States to a 3-2 victory over Russia at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. NBC's on-air lineup includes Kenny Albert, Eddie Olczyk, Brian Boucher, Kathryn Tappen, AJ Mleczko, Jen Botterill, Brendan Burke, Chris Vosters, Anson Carter, and Angela Ruggiero.
