Terik Parascak notches second career hat trick in Prince George's 4-2 win, now trails only Lynden Lakovic in WHL goals
""We talked about exits out of the zone as a big key factor for us, and obviously that was a perfect play out of the corner," Parascak said. "My linemates made good plays, and fortunate enough to get a breakaway there and finally be able to put one in the net. So, yeah, felt good.""
""Obviously, a goal for the team is a goal," Parascak said. "To be on the side of dishing him out, it always feels good, and obviously Souchi's been such a big part of our group this year, and for him to get one there feels good.""
""Parascak was unbelievable," Mark Lamb, the Cougars' general manager and head coach, said, per the team."
Terik Parascak, the Capitals' 2024 first-round pick, produced four points and his second career WHL hat trick in Prince George's 4-2 win over Victoria. He scored 13 seconds into the first period on a backhand-forehand through the goaltender's five-hole, added a second goal 8:01 later from a ricochet during a power play, and finished with an empty-net goal with 1:59 remaining. Parascak also recorded an assist on a power-play rush that led to a Brock Souch finish at the far post. The performance earned him First Star of the Night honors.
