Carolina defeated the Los Angeles Kings in overtime after Sebastian Aho scored at 1:25 of overtime, assisted by Seth Jarvis and Shayne Gostisbehere. Jordan Staal opened the scoring for Carolina in the first period and Alexander Nikishin added a third-period goal earlier in regulation. Los Angeles responded with two third-period goals from Samuel Helenius and Quinton Byfield. The Stadium Series between Boston and Tampa Bay produced a high-scoring affair with Boston goals from Alex Steeves, Morgan Geekie (two goals), Viktor Arvidsson, and Matthew Poitras. Tampa Bay answered with goals from Brandon Hagel, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Darren Raddysh, Nick Paul and Nikita Kucherov, and recorded a shootout conversion by Jake Guentzel. Vegas tallied goals from Mitch Marner, Ivan Barbashev and Tomas Hertl, while Anaheim received two goals from Chris Kreider.
